Good read.Good read.A real relief to learn that the book wasn't about vampires & werewolves. The struggle of loyalty, family, and love is a refreshing read. Look forward to the next book.

Very engrossing! Very engrossing! This plot was intriguing and the love story and conflict were captivating. I am looking forward to the next book.

It was an interesting idea and it kept me reading. The romance section slowed things down and just wasn't that great for me. I also wasn't a fan of the ending. It's got some good tense moments and I love the historical side. Overall, it's a bit unbalanced. Sometimes it's really good and sometimes not so much.

Amazingly creative...Amazingly creative...Powerhouse of a first book!!! Eva deserves all kinds of praise for bringing us such exceptional literary intellect. Definitely a genius of a book. No doubt there is now a huge list of fans who just can't wait for it's follow-up...including me :)

I love, love, LOVED this book! The only thing I didn't enjoy was the book wasn't long enough! : )Great read for anybody as it touches a lot of bases & genres...It's now officially in my Top 5 Favorite books list!
