This book sounded so promising, it was my first read by Sherrilyn Kenyon and I'd heard many people raving on about how great her Dark Hunter novels were; and as a fan of paranormal romance and urban fantasy, I couldn't wait to find another sexy, dark series to get into, complete with the usual array of vampires and mythology.The problem with the paranormal romance genre, and even more so the urban fantasy genre, is that after you've read a few of them they all start to form a similar pattern

3 starsWow....this book was great. I had only picked it up because I wanted to start the Dream Hunter series and I wanted to get some background knowledge on the world I was entering. Interesting book but the accents annoyed me.Night Pleasures is one of those books that kinda creeped up on me. I dove into it because someone wanted a buddy to read with. Also, it was a new author and I do love those.In it, you will meet Kyrian and Amanda. They were cute and shit. I liked how they were cracking jokes throughout the book but at the same time.. I was also getting annoyed?? I don't know. I'm very fickle with this book right now. I liked it but was also annoyed with it. For example,
