Judge Out Of Books Gregor and the Prophecy of Bane (Underland Chronicles #2)
Here we are, at book two in the Underland Chronicles, Suzanne Collin's MG series published before The Hunger Games. General consensus seems to be that The Hunger Games was far better, and while I agree that this wasn't as good, it's still certainly a worthwhile read, underrated among Suzanne Collins fans. The biggest reason being that Collins's wonderful plotting skill is on display once again. While the adventures occasionally felt episodic, the pacing was fast and consistent, an important

These books are just freaking awesome! Also, the story finished on Christmas Eve and I finished it on Christmas Eve, nice little coincidence :D

I FINISHED THIS BOOK A WEEK AGO AND IM READIN A NEW BOOK ALMOST DONE.I REALLY LIKE THIS BOOK.ONE REASON WHY I Really LIKE THIS BOOK IS WHEN GREGOR AND ARES WENT TO GO KILL THE BANE.THE BANE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A HUGE WHITE RAT BUT INSTEAD IT WAS A TINY RAT.THE SECOND THING WHY I LIKED THIS BOOK WHEN GREGOR,TEMP,BOOTS,ARES AND HENRY WENT TO SAVE HIS FATHER.GREGORS FATHER WAS LOCK IN PRISON FOR 2 YEARS BY HUGE RATS.THIS ON PAGE 105. ONE THING I DISLIKE THIS BOOK WAS WHEN TEMP AND TICK DIED AND

"Allow me to translate," said Twitchtip, not even bothering to move. "She said if you don't stop your incessant babble, the big rat sitting in the boat next to you will rip your head off." Wow. My emotions. The first time I read this book, it was on audio because it was always checked out from my local library. And I distinctly remember lying on my bed, with my portable CD player next to me, listening to the end of this book with tears in my eyes. The impact this story had on me is crazy. Some of

Okay, so after finishing Gregor the Overlander, I couldnt wait to get to the second installment. I was left wondering at the aftereffects of Gregors return. How did he tell his mom about his adventures and how did she react? By the end of the first book I was just as worried as Gregor was about his return. Unfortunately, home life hasnt gotten any easier for Gregor and his family. Economically, theyre still struggling and emotionally theyre still dealing with the mysterious happenings of

After staying up until 1 in the morning to finish book 1 I was eager to dig into book 2. I was at work today and had to go out in my lunch break, but luckily I finished early today so once I got home at 3.30 I got to sit down and get stuck in. By 5.00 I was over halfway through. This one is 50 pages longer than book 1, coming in at 308 pages, but that is still not a lot for me. I stopped for dinner then picked the book up again and was finished by 7.00. Once again I had powered through it, swept

It has been a few months since Gregor and Boots traveled to the Underland to save their father and finish the last prophecy. When Boots is kidnapped, Gregor must travel back to the Underland and undertake a quest of a new prophecy where he must kill the bane that threatens to destroy all. Can he accomplish this task? Read this and find out for yourself. This was a pretty good read. It had tons of adventures and learning to believe in yourself. I look forward to continue this series with Book 3 in
