Piece Of Books The Voices of a Distant Star
"Humans are such a curious race... but maybe sometimes they want to know too much. Because whenever they find anything different from themselves, they want to fight with it."There are many quotes in this book that I love. This is a sci-fi love story about a girl named Mikako who joins a research team to explore the recent contact between humans and alien races. She ventures out into space, leaving behind Noboru, the one man who loves her. They send messages through the cell phone but as years

What a beautiful, heartfelt, lonesome, romantic read. I'm curious to watch the movie now.

Send For Me by Atlantic StarrAlmost two decades ago, I watched the anime that this manga is based on and was mesmerized. Though the anime was completely CGI, and was obviously an indie-project, the impact of the story was so great that I did not mind the lack of a budget at all. Though I agree that Your Name is one of the greatest animes of all time, I

I don't think I've ever read something that express so much loneliness and sadness before. The feeling of waiting for something, for someone, for years, it can be tiring, unmotivated, draining, hurtful. I, myself, while reading it, felt lonely and sad as well. It wasn't just the story, but the art style too. The characters barely smiled here and there. There's literally no funny part to laugh at. Even so, I'm just glad there was a spark of hope that still radiated throughout the chapters, a

the setting is around some time in the future. when technology is incredibly sophisticated. about a girl and a boy who separated by time and space.. but still trying to keep in touch with each other..no matter how long it takes. so touching, and romantic.

If there was one manga, especially shoujo, that crushed my heart, this was it.Absolutely crushed it in just 1 single volume. It was so tragic and their reality was super bleak, the longing, oh the longing.. and yet... there was also a spark of hope. I cannot not use this gif, fits perfectly.

Noboru...It seems like...We are two lovers separated by time and space... This is pretty much a story of star-crossed lover that takes a literal twist. In 2039, first manned mission to Mars discovered the existence of extra-terrestrial being. It prompted the entire world to join forces in order to tackle the problem. It wasn't really mentioned precisely why Tarsian Project was launched, or what the problem is, but it probably has something to do with the knowledge that we are not alone in the
